JOHN R. MCKINNEY RETIRES

 Branch treasurer John McKinney has retired effective July 1, 2007. "Mac", who began as a union steward at James E. Worsham station (Grand Crossing), has held office as a trustee and auditor for Branch 11 in over 20 years of service. Besides his 12 years as Branch 11 treasurer he also served as the Sergeant-At-Arms for the Illinois State Association and as a N.A.L.C delegate to the AFL-CIO.

Branch President Jimmie Canada has appointed auditor Phillip Wilkes to complete McKinney's term as branch treasurer. Mack Julion Sr. has been moved up to auditor to complete Wilkes term and Loop Section 5 steward Stafford (Jay) Price has been brought on as the Sergeant-At-Arms. Stafford completed the NALC first leadership academy class in 2005.
